Chair & Financial Trustee

Tom Meynell became the Chair of HorseHeard in November 2023 and has been the Financial Trustee since 2022.

Tom studied Business Economics at Cardiff University and went on to become a Fellow Chartered Account (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He has worked in the Technology sector for over 15 years and is currently working for Microsoft across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has a passion for the work Horseheard does and the outcomes its programs deliver for children and veterans.

Tom lives in Newbury with his wife and 3 children. Outside of work, Tom spends most of his time watching his children playing sports but when he does have some free time you’ll find him playing golf or cycling round the roads of West Berkshire.
